Lactate Threshold Testing
We are pleased to offer our latest service in order to provide you with all the tools to train better, harder and most importantly smarter!
A blood lactate test is a reliable guide to safe and effective training for athletes. It helps the athlete to avoid under or overtraining, which can lead to exhaustion. This is a hugely beneficial marker in the success, or otherwise, of an individual’s sports performance.
WHY DOES LActate Testing Matter?
Blood Lactate will give you an indication as to how your body responds to different levels of intensity, how much strain is being placed on the body at every workload and allow you to dial in exactly where you should be doing most of your training on all parameters from easy to hard training sessions.
This precision allows you to be more confident in your training zones and ensures minimal training time is wasted.

HOW BLOOD LACTATE TEST WORKS?
What are LT1 and LT2 levels?
Hard to define outside the Lab – LT1 is a measure of your aerobic threshold gives you an indication of the maximum intensity you should do your endurance or aerobic training
LT2 is the point at which once you pass it, blood lactate accumulate faster than you can clear it. This is normally 4mmol, but can differ for individual athletes.
The relationship between these two variables provides definitive answers as to how your can improve your performance further or break through that plateau in performance and become the best athlete you can be!.
